Jimmy’s passion for coaching and teaching began early in his career as a high school swimming and water polo coach and physical education teacher from 1982 to 1996. After retiring from a distinguished 16-year career as a motion picture and television lighting technician with Union Local 728 (1996–2012), he returned to coaching, guiding young athletes to success as a high school swimming and water polo coach (2012–2017) and, since 2017, as a USA Age Group Swimming Coach at Paseo Aquatics.

A heart transplant recipient in 2023, Jimmy emerged with a renewed commitment to helping others transform their lives. His journey has reinforced his belief in the power of resilience, purpose, and entrepreneurship. Through his work as a coach, speaker, and entrepreneur, Jimmy inspires audiences and clients alike to overcome obstacles and achieve meaningful success.
